The departure of two new energy vehicles from the China (Guiyang) Used Car Export Base in Guiyang Free Trade Zone, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on April 9, marked the launch of the Guiyang–Almaty used car export route.
This new route offers full "door-to-door" services. Vehicles travel over 4,500 kilometers by land from Guiyang, passing through Chongqing, Sichuan, Gansu, and Xinjiang, before exiting China via the Horgos Port and arriving at an overseas warehouse in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The journey is expected to take around 10 days.
Equipped with advanced GPS tracking, the route allows for real-time monitoring, improving transparency and enabling customers to track shipments at any time. It also helps the export base adjust operations efficiently based on transport progress, enhancing the overall convenience and reliability of the service.
This cross-border logistics route is a new initiative of inland cross-border logistics route by the China (Guiyang) Used Car Export Base, creating a fresh channel for vehicle exports from Guiyang and nearby regions. As the route gains traction, it's expected to attract more used car export orders from surrounding areas, establish Guiyang Free Trade Zone as a large-scale cargo distribution center, and drive regional economic growth.
