Guiyang has established friendship city or friendly exchange city relationships with 32 cities worldwide.
A delegation led by Seo Kye-won, Director-General of the Administrative and Safety Bureau of Hongseong County, Chungcheongnam-do Province, South Korea, visited Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, from March 24 to 27.
The Foreign Affairs Office of Guizhou Province, in collaboration with Guiyang Free Trade Zone, held the Guizhou-Lancang-Mekong Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference on March 20.

The China International Big Data Industry Expo 2025 will take place in Guiyang from August 28 to 30.
With just over 6 million permanent residents, Guiyang boasts more than 3,000 coffee shops—a coffee shop density higher than that of Shanghai, making it a new destination for coffee lovers across China.
