Australian Consul General in Chengdu visits Guiyang

On Sept 10, Han Liyun, director of the Guiyang Foreign Affairs Office, met with Meaghan Shaw, Australian Consul-General in Chengdu, and her delegation.

The two sides had a warm communication on promoting exchanges and cooperation between Guiyang and Australia in agriculture, education, tourism, and friendship city relationship.

Han introduced Guiyang's latest development. She said that through the creation of the "Cool Guiyang" brand, the city offers visitors a memorable experience across six key areas: health, culture, sightseeing, food, shopping, and travel. Efforts have been made to cultivate industries associated with artisan coffee and craft beer. She hopes that both sides can further promote cooperation in agriculture, education, and cultural exchanges.

Meaghan, in her third visit to Guiyang, expresses the willingness of Australian Consulate to strengthen its contacts with relevant departments and enterprises in Guiyang based on culture, tourism, education and other cooperation, broaden the scope of interaction, and achieve new breakthroughs in agricultural technology and medical technology.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the National Big Data (Guizhou) Comprehensive Pilot Zone Exhibition Center, Guiyang Longmaster Information Technology Co, and the Museum of Handcrafted Memory.
