"This is the third batch of complete vehicles sent from Gui'an to Nepal," said Ke Li, foreign trade manager of Guizhou Hongtutong International Trade Co.
Since established in Gui'an Free Trade Zone in April, the company, which specializes in the import and export of new energy vehicles and accessories, has exported 32 new energy vehicles to Nepal.
"We are committed to building a global supply chain service system, and we expect the annual export volume to exceed 20 million yuan, injecting new impetus into the development of the inland open economy of Gui'an New Area," said Ke.
A representative of the Gui'an Free Trade Zone's bureau of commerce said that this newly opened Gui'an New Area-Keyrung Port-South Asia export route is an extension of the "two-way three-line" system of cross-border logistics highways, and the zone will continue to expand external channels and allow more "Guizhou-made" and "Gui'an-made" products to go global.
