The conference attracted more than 180 people from 28 US states, as well as representatives from 26 provinces, regions, and municipalities in China.

The Guiyang delegation showcased intangible cultural heritage creative products such as Miao embroidery and batik to the attending guests, and introduced the city through promotional videos. This vivid promotion gave the US guests a deeper understanding of Guiyang's natural endowment and development potential.

Carol Robertson Lopez, chair emeritus and global envoy of the US Sister Cities International, said the sister city relationship is a bridge between the US and China, adding that Sister Cities International will support friendly exchanges between Guiyang and relevant US cities.

Wendy Soone-Broder, a San Francisco government representative, congratulated the 10th anniversary of the establishment of sister-city relations between San Francisco and Guiyang, adding that Guiyang's willingness to cooperate will be fed back to the San Francisco City Government to promote interactive upgrading.
