A delegation of 97 teachers and students from Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia recently visited Guiyang Vocational and Technical College for the 2025 "Bridge to see" Guizhou International Cultural Exchange Program, experiencing China's achievements in vocational education and the unique charm of Guizhou culture.

The college prepared a series of activities, including vocational skill experience and intangible cultural heritage craft study tour, to allow the teachers and students to experience Guizhou's characteristics and the style of vocational education in the province.

At the college's equipment manufacturing automotive training base, teachers and students observed new energy vehicle technology up close and learned about two talent cultivation models: school-enterprise cooperation and industry-education integration.

At the School of Rail Transit's practical training base, they gained a deeper understanding of urban rail transit and high-speed rail operation systems through simulated driving experience, observation of operations control center scheduling, and explanations of locomotive development history.

A college representative said that the event not only showcased the college's professional development and practical training achievements, but also provided an opportunity for teachers and students from the three countries to experience Guizhou's unique ethnic culture and intangible cultural heritage crafts firsthand, promoting friendly exchanges and mutual understanding between Chinese and international youth, and further promoting international cooperation between the college and ASEAN countries in education and culture.

In recent years, the college has adhered to the concept of open education, built a platform for international educational and cultural exchanges, and deepened international exchanges and cooperation through efforts such as exchange visits, curriculum co-construction, and skills competitions, injecting new vitality into educational exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN.
