A silver-gray driverless minibus was spotted gliding smoothly along Changling South Road in Guanshanhu district of Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 26. With no steering wheel, no driver's seat, and sensors capturing road conditions in real time, the sci-fi-like scene drew crowds of curious onlookers. It was a live test of the "Qiyu Loop" project by Guizhou Hankaisi Intelligent Technology Co (PIX Moving).
By the second quarter of this year, a fleet of driverless "city robots" will officially hit the streets of Guiyang, offering residents a smart travel experience at the touch of a button.

In its early days, PIX Moving was just a small team with a big dream. Today, holding over 200 patents, the company have obtained both national and EU certifications and secured an Italian road test operating license for its core products.
In 2025, the company completed three smart manufacturing facilities in Guiyang, Huzhou, and Chigasaki, Japan, forming a complete process that connects research and development, mass production, and market applications.
Yu revealed that this year, building on two existing flagship products, the company will accelerate the launch of a third innovative model, aiming to increase ts annual output value by three times and expand into global markets under the banner of "Guizhou Smart Manufacturing".
