The seven-day tournament ran until June 21 and featured a total of 20 weight categories for men and women. Nearly 300 elite boxers competed in a peak showdown of strength and willpower.

The opening ceremony was a dazzling and high-spirited affair, blending traditional ethnic culture with modern technology – a vivid display of Guizhou's unique character and contemporary vitality.

The results of this tournament determined which boxers secured their spots in the World Boxing Cup Finals to be held in Uzbekistan.

As Guiyang's newest urban landmark, the Guiyang Olympic Sports Center gymnasium boasts a total floor area of 130,000 square meters and offers 12,000 fixed seats. Built to top-tier international competition standards, it can host a wide range of events, including professional ball games, cultural performances, and esports tournaments.

During the tournament, Guiyang introduced a "ticket-stub economy" model, allowing spectators to enjoy exclusive discounts at key scenic spots, star-rated hotels, and specialty restaurants across the Guiyang area by presenting their event tickets. An immersive boxing carnival was held concurrently, transforming event-driven foot traffic into growth for cultural and tourism consumption.
