An agreement to jointly develop the Guiyang Gui'an International Talent Entrepreneurship Park was signed on Oct 15 at the Digital Economy Industrial Park in Gui'an New Area, aiming to help international entrepreneurs turn their ideas into viable businesses.
The park will focus on cross-border trade in goods, services, and digital products, offering 17 business packages to help startups enter the market. It aims to attract international graduates, returning Chinese students, and local students seeking overseas opportunities.
International graduates from countries including Vietnam, Laos, and Pakistan have already established 17 foreign-invested companies spanning international trade, consulting, translation, and tourism services.
The park offers 1,500 square meters of shared workspace, including meeting rooms, areas for project presentations, and nearly 100 workstations. Eligible startups can receive two years of rent and utility waivers, with a possible one-year extension.
The park also provides 56 support services, including business registration, policy guidance, and operational support, with one-stop assistance available throughout the startup process.
Guizhou Foreign Economic & Trade Group Co also inaugurated a foreign trade service station at the park on Oct 15, which, through the group's expertise in international trade, logistics, supply chains, and legal services, is set to provide on-site support to help businesses navigate foreign trade and reach overseas markets.
